We started our family business in 2010 with the goal of offering a new kind of special event service that provided flexibility for clients. Located in the culturally diverse Washington DC metropolitan area, we recognized that the most authentic international cuisines usually came from restaurants, but those restaurants often did not have the trained event service staff, equipment, and high quality rental items needed for off-premise special events. This left event hosts managing pickups and deliveries of hundreds of plates and glasses, caused service problems at expensive once-in-a-lifetime events, and sometimes even resulted in venue requirements not being met – with the hosts’ hefty security deposits at stake. The hosts weren’t happy, the restaurants weren’t happy, and the venues weren’t happy. With our more than 20 years of experience in event service, we knew that we could help make a difference.
Offering practical, flexible, and customizable packages as well as a la carte options for any social and corporate event, C&G Event Rentals and Service quickly built an excellent reputation with several venues, caterers, and restaurants in the area, which grew into an ever-expanding network of options for our clients. Our clients love the ability to serve food from their favorite restaurants, and we at C&G have worked alongside various cultures, such as American, Latino, African, Indian, Middle Eastern, Asian, Caribbean, etc. We are proud to offer them a much needed stress-free experience.
